Yosemite Lodge at the Falls, California
A great review of the Yosemite Lodge at the Falls, including details on rooms, facilities, amenities, services, restaurants and bars.
Yosemite Lodge at the Falls, California, is a good base for families staying in Yosemite National Park and is the closest hotel to Yosemite Falls. It is a modern-looking, recently upgraded lodge with over 200 rooms that sits near the base of Yosemite’s most famous falls. Prices at Yosemite Lodge at the Falls are slightly less than the Wawona Hotel - also in the park - and cheaper rooms can be had in the winter.
The structure itself is one of wood and lots of glass. It was recently redone to help the building blend more with the environment and comes complete with hard landscaping and a plethora of local trees, shrubs and wildflowers on the grounds. Yosemite Lodge at the Falls, California has a whole bunch of facilities that will appeal to the entire family, including: two restaurants, a lounge, swimming pool, children's programs, bicycle rental, wireless internet, and a whole lot more. One thing it doesn’t have, though, is air conditioned rooms, although aircon is rarely needed.
